Mission:
Ushers aid the Pastor during morning worship to ensure that the service runs smoothly and everyone's needs are met.

Psalms 84:10
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Goals:

We shall strive to give joy to the sorrowful, hope to the lost, sunshine to the darkness, but most of all; love, meekness, and kindness. With help from God, we shall do our best to serve Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with pure hearts, clean hands, and a mouth that will not be offensive to those we love. We shall welcome them into the house of the Lord, as you take your post in the house of the Lord, remember walk in love, with love.

Dues: $30.00 annually.
